Face Time With the Pros

natasIf you’re interested in going into TV News, the folks at The Philip Merrill School of Journalism (UMD College Park) are holding an event called Face Time with the Pros on Saturday, March 3  at 8:30 a.m. The day long event will include hands-on seminars with TV News industry professionals. Study Abroad in Spain this Summer!

reporterThe Maryland-Delaware-DC Press Association is offering paid internships this summer. The internship would place you at a participating newspaper near your home.

From the website:

Students with a strong career interest in print journalism (and associated platforms) who have completed a college-level course in one of these areas or have equivalent experience on a college or community publication.  Open to undergraduates either:

  • attending any Maryland, Delaware, or the District of Columbia four-year college/university, OR
  • a resident of Maryland, Delaware or District of Columbia attending a four-year college/university elsewhere
